Wow! This is really bad if it's not going to get any better. I've already switched from Apple several years ago (when there was no more viable desktop "Pro" option for me), and I suspect more true "pro" users will do the same.
Maybe Apple simple doesn't care about (or need) pro users. That's fine, I guess. They want to go in other directions. It could be that 'pros' are too expensive to have as customers.
There's a big difference between the AfterEffects guys and the writers. Rogan's complaints were as someone whose career requires massive amounts of writing and understandably wants a keyboard to have feedback.
I'm in complete agreement with him. In their obsession to make the thing thinner and fancier they have rendered it less usable. They've locked themselves into a marketing pattern that precludes them from having a "if it ain't broke" mindset.
Wasn't it? It got featured in our main TV news multiple times. But frankly, there wasn't much to hope for in that story, unlike with the cave rescue. After the first couple of hours, it's very unlikely that you'd find more survivors.
He only seemed slightly overweight. I think this is only to be considered when a patient is significantly overweight or obese. Dementia rates are certainly higher in the Obese population.
In any event--this man had a confirmed genetic condition that was the definite cause of his dementia. He was going to get it, no matter what actions he took.
While it may be true that some dementia in obese people may not have manifested if that person did not overeat, that is not the case here.
