Embrace the concept of a talent stack. List the things you love and/or are talented in. Enumerate subsets of this list to find things which combine as many of these things as possible.
This maximizes the amount of what you love that you get to do, and it puts you in a niche where you are uniquely well suited.
As someone who is shadow banned, the moderation is no less strict here than on Reddit. Your experience will ultimately depend on a mods particular mood or sensitive topics.
So the distinction between ban and shadow ban seems pretty minor. Anyway zero warnings and I’ve posted no “ideological” material other than fully in context responses to posts.
Again, same here as Reddit. Mods didn’t like a particular political association with a post so made the choice to label it ideological and ban me.
It always feels like the mods are against you, but plenty of HN users with roughly the same political or ideological associations stay within the site guidelines and don't get banned. The converse is also true: users with opposite views to yours, who break the site guidelines in the way that you did, also get banned.
Investing in a quality dry herb vaporizer is even more cost effective. I don’t even smoke very often but have the coveted Volcano and it is incredible.
Arizer for me. My first one lasted more than a decade of daily use. Got a discount on the second. It worries me that the flexible tubing might be Extremely Bad news. A shitton of leachate must come out of the heated plasticizers.
I’ve also heard the occasional bad news about the heated ceramic and wiring in the heaters. OTOH, I don’t seem to be harmed yet, and it’s not like city air isn’t filled with other toxins.

Crypto companies are hungry (desperate even) for genuine talent, but they only have the pool of people who either believe in crypto or are willing to pretend for a big paycheck. The former are by definition a bit inexperienced / naive, and the latter aren’t passionate just greedy.
I’ve considered being one of the latter but have concerns it will ruin my resume. Also doubt I could stomach lying for money for long.
And in the end it was redistribution from the lower to the upper class. The last two years were the biggest wealth transfer in history. And "wealth" is so much more than just money... we absolutely screwed our kids in a way that will impact them for quite some time.
This is what every major crash in the US economy is. Poor people lose assets and rich people can coast long enough to buy them up cheap. Not a surprise that we are headed towards continuously record-breaking levels on income inequality
