Imagine the size of those weights.

Someone else who's not a big, american vampire corp feeding on VC money can worry about that for me...

Any planned security mitigations for allowing telegram to execute terminal commands?

I rely on Telegram authentication (when you setup it, your telegram user ID is saved in a config file and any message not from your user ID is ignored).

Each person setup will be different, but in my case my telegram account is more important than my computer. I have important info and messages there, and on the other side, for any dangerous action on my computer, you will need OTP codes, passwords which I keep secure in Proton Pass, etc.

Hilarious. A post I'd upvote in 2035: "Microsoft Windows 14 now requires a daily blood sacrifice to disable telemetry."

The UVB portion of sunlight indirectly increases dopamine levels. You find it mainly near noon-day sunlight, and tanning beds. So the feel-good effects may encourage users to come back for more.

Frequent tanning bed users all have this addict level rationalization for using them when everyone knows it's harmful.

Serum levels of THC do not correlate with degree of impairment. It's not linear, like alcohol.

I thought this was common knowledge among physicians who have studied the subject.

And we keep getting them elected. Imagine an election where candidates are liable for the veracity of every claim they make, with immediate penalties to their candidacy, and only verified facts are allowed in ads.

You cease to have a democracy. The real power sits with the verifier in that system.

Important point.

I know so many honest citizens who could have benefitted from a tiny fraction of that money.

But it's been under investigation for 4.5 years as I understand, and the theoretical numbers thrown by politicians (hype/lies) are increasingly confusing. So what's the hope for any correction?

I don’t hear many people in Minnesota trying to pretend the existence of these crimes is a hoax, fake news, etc. - so the hope is that we take our prosecutorial responsibilities seriously. Perhaps, so seriously that we set an expectation for the investigation and criminal prosecution of fraud and corruption vertically as well.

I'm reading worse performance than many OSS offerings like Paddle, MinerU, MonkeyOCR, etc:

Their handwriting benchmark is not useful. The test cases aren’t even handwritten!

That’s just the illustration. But this is misleading - I will fix it asap and show real examples. I’ve run the mistral ocr on other benchmark

Do you know of any good handwriting eval/benchmark? I haven’t been able to find one.
