Wait til right before the summer, not only will the picture economically be more clear, but there's a summer to enjoy. Right now is a slower holiday season where you'd expect a more relaxed work experience, and a bad time to travel or enjoy life.

Exactly, on HN it typically means UI/UX. To me, because it's what I do it means physical hardware design, industrial design and product design engineering together.
