Just reread Accelerando ... Still awesome.

Sounds pretty deadly!

Not really what I was hoping for... :/

Kafka is fast ... And MongoDB is web scale [0]. I completely agree that we shouldn't go chasing each new technical bauble but we are also wasting breath on those that do.

There's an Ethereum ERC that sounds like almost the same thing: https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-8004

Hey, co-founder of Coral here. ERC-8004 looks really cool, and there might be some crossover, but we actually approach trust a little differently.

Here’s a video I made about it yesterday: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/romejgeorgio_how-can-you-trus...

I have a couple iOpeners that I use as text terminal. Full QNX once you root them.

Is this using x402 under the covers?

Interesting ... A web2 equivalent to the x402 specification. Thanks for the explanation of how fees are handled below.

https://x402.org

x402: on-chain, HTTP 402, wallet-to-server, synchronous per-request payments.

Small Transfers: card rails (Stripe), account-based, off-session, batched billing with spend caps; no tokens/wallets.

So did I ... But I've started writing my applications to run locally, in a WASM runtime and in a container so most of my debug and test occurs right on my OS.

Two more browsers that Confluence and Jira can fail in!
