I would recommend looking at the Fast Colored Text Box ( https://www.codeproject.com/Articles/161871/Fast-Colored-Tex... ) It is a .net control that has built in syntax coloring. Some of the sample code are full fledged editors.

If you are doing html and occasionally for other purposes foxe html editor is highly underrated. http://www.firstobject.com/dn_editor.htm

She said 10 to the 15. 10^15

To be fair I also heard 10-15 on the first pass and then had to think about it for a second.

That's because she actually said "ten to the fifteen" not "ten to the fifteenth", so you have to decide if you autocorrect by removing the "the" -> "ten to fifteen" or by adding the "th" -> "ten to the fifteenth".

Easy to get confused.

"Ten to the fifteen" is also correct, and in my experience more common. It's short for "ten to the power of fifteen", whereas "ten to the fifteenth" is short for "ten to the fifteenth power".

I think the headline is misleading.

The point of the article is that the algorithm that Apple is using works as well as Apple says it does, and the headline implies that it doesn't.

What would be a better (i.e. more accurate and neutral) title?

A reply by the moderator! I am honored.

I think the headline should be:

ImageNet contains about as many naturally occurring NeuralHash collisions as Apple predicts

Hey, OP here - while that is also true, I think the average observer would think this number _should_ be zero. The fact that any exist at all is surprising (but the fact that only two exist is also surprising; I expected to find either zero or lots when I started the script).
