I would love that so much. That's the feature I wanted to play for the longest while, but the shortage of time just doesn't let me.

That would be a jixe step up.

"private DNS". Configure your own (with ad blocking) on nextdns.

You really don't want to host email yourself. Major PITA, time sink and constant possibility of your emails being just silently discarded after being accepted at the big providers.

Precisely.

Especially when comparing the number of deaths(1) from then-China's favourite energy source or simply Uranium's efficiency(2) and the fact we know now how to recycle most of the waste(3)

Sure, I prefer the solar too, but I agree the governance is the bigger problem in the example from the story.

I guess you didn't touch LSD? I think 12 would be considered short :)

I knew personally someone whose trips usually took 48 hours. Unusually long, yes, and really exhausting.

LSD had the same duration with me, but more psychological & emotional impact. So I avoided it for two reasons. Weirdly, all my divorced 50+ year-old male peers are now into K and DMT. They are raving about DMT, but I feel like my brain is too frail-as-is.

Interesting.

Admittedly i wanted to try both but back then I didn't have opportunity, and now the mindspace is just not too.... Right for the risks.

Maybe when I'm too old to worry and it's too late to care :)

On windows you could write AutoHotkey macro to do it for you - just paste current time at the cursor at the touch of the trigger key.

Seriously, there are AI-supported apps for this. Much better than the barebones, subpar web chat.

Not knowing there are toggles inside settings they don't even know eziatt.

Yeah, we know. This is why there are defaults and only defaults.

Please no, please no

That will be Windows 12 and perhaps 2 generations in of iOS :)

I have the same when I look at some beverages and sweets in the UK compared to some European countries.

Similar or even the same product, much more sugar added in the UK. To the point it's not edible (like supermarket cakes).

Most products would taste better if they had half or third of it.

But it's not about taste, it's about dependency.
