No, the "left" doesn't have solutions as can be seen by the current course of the pandemic in Europe.


We could probably learn from countries that have successfully handled the situation though, regardless of whether we consider ourselves “left” or “right”.


I doesn't seem that we can. Most of Europe has failed to do that and now needs to lock down to different degrees.

And of course this isn't related to left vs. right, but rather being competent, geography, having a disciplined population and political will. I was merely replying to someone who said that the left has solutions and offered the counter-evidence.


Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan have had very successful strategies and outcomes.
