In my day to day life using computers I get frustrated to the point of anger by the scarcity of systems designed and implemented holistically by talented people - I can't even imagine what it must be like using these systems while trying to do a physician's job.


Someone once said "90% of sci-fi is crap".

Sci-fi author Theodore Sturgeon then coined Sturgeon's Law which is that 90% of EVERYTHING is crap.

I guess the moral of the story is to focus on, and try to be surrounded by, the 10%.

Good luck to those poor doctors!


That reveals a common corollary: Whoever is speaking is always in the 10%.

90% of doctors aren't so hot either.


You know what they call the person who graduated last in their class in medical school?

Doctor.
