I'm sure you're aware it exists, but the Vim plugin for IntelliJ is actually good enough, imho. Might be worth a try.


When a language has only one practical choice of IDE, that's a red-flag to me.


Exactly. LSP for Kotlin in VSCode unfortunately had far inferior experience compared to IntelliJ native support.
