Show HN: WatchMySSL – Automated SSL Certificate Monitoring (watchmyssl.com)

Hey HN, I'm [Your Name], the solo founder of WatchMySSL. This tool keeps track of your SSL certificates in one dashboard and sends alerts before they expire, eliminating downtime risks and SEO penalties that can harm your business.

I'm eager for your thoughts on:

* Use case: Does this solve a problem for you? * Solution: Any features you’d like to see? * Pricing: It's free, but considering a paid version. What features would you consider paying for?

This is pretty neat, I could see myself using this for convenience, but I also just renew my certificates automatically on a cronjob, which isn't too bad. In terms of alerts, Let's Encrypt already emails you when it's near expiry, no?

By the way, I tried signing up but never received the welcome / confirmation email so I couldn't get in.

Thanks! Yes, Let's Encrypt does email you, and they provide extensive documentation for automatic renewals as you say. But even with that, I've had some WordPress instances go dark a few times because of some hard to debug problems with the cron job while running inside a Docker instance. Also, it's nice having everything in the same dashboard if you manage several sites. Peace of mind.

Regarding the signup email, thanks for the heads-up. I just fixed the issue and if you want to give it another try, you can just register once more.

Much appreciated!
