I'm pretty sure the only reason this is the "first time" microplastics were discovered there is because this is the first time they've looked there. I think it's pretty safe for the layperson to assume microplastics are just about everywhere in our bodies.


It’s amazing how robust life is. We are millennia from building mechanical systems with this level of flexibility.


On other side, when you think what we make. What does not tolerate some amount of some type of contaminants? Integrated chips is one of not that many that come to mind.


Yup, exactly what I was thinking. But I bet that microplastics we're found in vaginas years ago!

My inner 8 year old really enjoys the fact that PPs contain PP.
