Yeah, good saying but I think GP misinterpreted it. It does not mean “nobody knows shit”, it means “you have the same tools they do so any difference in outcome is due to skill that can be learned”.

Its a rejection of gear lust and similar (“I can’t possibly achieve that result without [toy that I want]”)


No, it's not what it means. It basically means "nobody is special". Whether that's true or not, is a different discussion, but that's how the saying is used.


I agree with the “nobody is special” take much more than the “nobody knows shit” take.
