I’m happy the EC is pushing back. The arguments given by Apple during the hearing were absurd and it’s high time we put some “safe area” around corps. Also huge thanks to the FSFE for putting this together and articulating why “innovation” doesn’t come at the expense of consumers and their rights.


this is fundamentally flawed. Why go after a functioning ecosystem, when others just to stop providing to their customers and their devices become bricks? Why penalise the users of the "Apple ecosystem" with this crazy law suit? We, as consumers have a choice to buy whatever. If we make a bad choice, that is on us.
